Where's Fluffy?

ahura mazda help us: our political landscape is bleaker'n that of the moon .... airless, lifeless, without signs of intelligence ..... i wanted to say, jesus, we're fucked .... but it's sunday and i didn't want to start making christian references right off, and so i defer to ahura mazda ..... you know him: the zoroastrian figurehead, the parsi's main man ..... he also builds cars in japan ..... they're nice cars; i have one .....

john mccain, mr. liver spots, came out for the presidency the other day ...... his soundbite in his alloted thirty seconds with which to lay his claim before the american peeple was, " i know i'm the oldest .... but i'm not afraid ..... "

did you hear me shrieking? this is what we've devolved to? john's qualification for the republican presidency of the united states--other than being a whore (all due apologies to sex trade workers; i have nothing but the greatest respect for you) and an asswipe, is that he's "not afraid?"
ahura mazda, what an asshole .....

feeling statements and catch phrases are big in advertising, brainwashing, and politics .... as though there were a difference .... now we're told that the intelligence basis for our invading and occupying eye-rak was that it would be a "slam dunk ....." oh, okay ..... sounds good to me ..... let's go to war! cool! bitchin'! not a prollem! fuck yeah! iraq 'n' roll! iraq 'n' roll! slam dunk, y-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-y! high five, motherfucker, high five!

employment figures are skewed because there's a new industry in the united states: writing books denouncing bush, his policies, his coterie, etc. ..... everyone that had their nose wedged up george's crotch for years is now hawking a book that decries the invasion of iraq; the corruption of the bush regime; the cronyism of the bush regime; the lying of the bush regime; the manipulation of "intelligence," mostly the lack of intelligence in the press and the american people; katrina; sodomizing small animals; using the skins of young children for toilet tissue, you name it, there's a rush to surf the shifting waves of public opinion, and what better way to cash in on a new trend than by writing a book ..... george tenet, who parroted so much administration horseshit while "director" of the central intelligence agency, is now hawking his new book, "at the center of the storm" ..... which storm, george? the desert storm? or the storm of bullshit that was flung at all of us to justify decisions made back when noah was flogging the animals onto the ark, getting ready for the shitstorm that inundated new orleans ....

sorry, mixed metaphors and references; that's what happens when i get upset .... tenet's thirty-second soundbyte was "at the end of the day all you have is your reputation, [presumably for "integrity"] ..... and they took mine ......"

this is a man who never had integrity, in an organization that's been involved in assassination, deception, murder, the toppling of democratically elected governments, and other administrative peccadiloes for the last sixty years ......

but then, after bullshit ...... war is our biggest business ......

meanwhile, today's sunday new york times (4.29./07) has these fruity little quotes on the front page:

"In a troubling sign for the American-financed rebuilding program in Iraq, inspectors for a federal oversight agency have found that in a sampling of eight projects that the United States had declared successes, seven were no longer operating as designed because of plumbing and electrical failures, lack of proper maintenance, apparent looting and expensive equipment that lay idle.

Officials at the oversight agency, the Office of the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction, said they had made an effort to sample different regions and various types of projects, but that they were constrained from taking a true random sample in part because many projects were in areas too unsafe to visit [italics mine]. So, they said, the initial set of eight projects — which cost a total of about $150 million — cannot be seen as a true statistical measure of the thousands of projects in the roughly $30 billion American rebuilding program."

wow .... really?

okay, if you say so, but guys .... why do you hate our freedoms? like the freedom of halliburton to make lots of money, along with all the other defense contractors who subsidize the republican party, along with the pharmaceutical industry and big oil, as though there were something like "small oil ....."

then last week i heard some republikan, whose name i've mercifully repressed, responding to the appearance of industrial waste in pet food, say, "if we're not careful al kayda'd dew it agayn 'n' kill all our pets ...."

i had this vision of the amerkin sheeple, sittin' in front o' they teevee ...... honey, i cain't git outta mah chair coz i'm too fat 'n' stewpid ...... woncha bring me wan o' they new 'n' improved carb free turbo lite super frosty sugar-xtreme beerz 'n' a bucket o' deep fried pig snowts ..... 650000 eeerakis daid 'n' 3400 murkin sojers .... yawn ...... says here country's goin' bankrupt ..... yawn ..... new orleenz gone 'n' dissapeerd ..... yawn ..... hey, looks lahk ah cain git a deel on a hummer .... hmmmmm ..... fluffy, come on'a ovah hyere so's i kin petcha .... fluffy ..... fluffy? honey, where's fluffy ..... oh mah GAWD! they done gone 'n' kill'd flufffy! you BASTARDS! you KILD FLUFFY! lordy how coud they do that they jis animalz they KILLLD FLUFFY!

next: dr. pete buries fluffy
