i've been travelling the last week, but i didn't miss anything, did i? still the same old, same old: same old faces, same old flanks, same old holes, same old inanity ..... travelling with two two-and-a-half year olds, for seven non-stop hours in a car, well .... it's about the same as reading the new york times or the washington post or the wall street journal or any of the other non-perforated rolls of toilet paper that pass for newspapers these days ....

gee, doctor pete; why would you say that? are you constipated? you seem .... i don't know .... kind of ..... tight and pinched and squeaky ....

well ..... i'm glad you asked, because here's what i'm talking about .....

last time i looked we were still engaged in an illegal and immoral occupation of a sovereign nation that seems to be kicking our butts and bleeding us dry, literally and figuratively ..... i seem to recall--albeit remotely--that we had .... ha ha .... i've got to laugh, i really do .... ha ha .... an election, in which the "american people" seemed to "send a message" that it was time to "get our asses" out of "iraq ......" and it seems that the response of our "government" was to .... ha ha ...... send more cannon fodder over ..... and .... ha ha ...... spend more money that we don't have but that the chinese are only to happy to lend to us .....

ha ha ......

the level of "discourse" is actually lower than badwater, in death valley, which is--at 282 feet below sea level--the lowest point in the continental united states .... why would i say that? well, we've had a "republican presidential candidate debate" which consisted of deluded poseurs vying for the mantle of thomas torquemada rather than thomas jefferson; a new aspiring republican candidate's primary qualification for the presidency is that he is yet another actor, in a string of bad republican actors, who has played "authority figures" on television; our attorney general is another "bad actor," we've had a series of "scandals" which typify republican "presidencies," and the new york times today has an editorial that says it's okay to "believe in god" and "question evolution ....."

and i'm not done yet .....

while questioning evolution and shimmying up to a loving god who will consign us all the flames of hell if we don't accept his unconditional love, we've got to "support the troops ...." i don't understand this at all .... perhaps one of the three people reading this can help me understand what this means, other than it greases george bush's asshole so's democrats can more easily clean the foul fecal folds of that festering poop-chute? with their tongues?

this is such a bizarre fuck-button that has amer'cans runnin' 'round like pavlov's poodles, poopin' theyselves 'n' slobb'rin ..... at the risk of repeating myself, "supporting the troops" has meant sending them off to a very hostile environment where they get killed or, worse, badly wounded and sent to walter reed; getting "the treatment" at walter reed; getting denied benefits; not getting body armor; not getting equipment; not getting training; halliburton giving them tainted food and water at exorbitant prices; teaching them how to kill civilians and torture people so they can enter a robust prison guard economy on their return to the states; extending their tours of duty; ignoring psychological and environmental hazards ..... yada yada yada yada ..... yada yada yada yada .....

giving king george more funding, giving our rosy red rat-pecker president more money doesn't mean "the troops" get more supplies or not; it just means that halliburton and boeing and raytheon and lockheed get more money ..... because they don't have enough ......

you want to "suport the troops?"

on top of that we're doing the "illegal alien" thing .... jeez, my degrees are in psychology, so don't count on me to do the math and economics of having the labor force that makes your sizzler's salad bar a possibility ask for health care or education, but honest to god, i find the whole argument spurious and offensive, yet another barbed metal butt plug in lady liberty's ass, and just another way to legitimize america's traditional penchant for racism ......

so much for "give me your tired, your hungry, your poor ....." how 'bout givin' them the finger 'n' the tip of a cowby boot up their butt, while rupert murdoch cuts to the head of the line?

all the prisons we're building? why don't we cut to the end of the chase and "crack down" on criminals, and incarcerate our "press corpse" and all our "politicians ......"
