it's hard to maintain the sense of outrage one needs to navigate the news and our lunar political landscape; it's tiring, it takes a lot of energy, and it's not for lack of trying ..... there's no shortage of the outrageous in our "news," but there's little outrage expressed by our "media," unless it's focused its glassy obtunded eye on something like john edward's haircut ..... i don't know shit about edward's haircut, and why would i? i don't do tv ....

you want some advice? advice is like shit on butthair; every asshole has some, and this asshole is no exception .... but hey, you want some advice? here goes, then, without further a doo:

Let's say you're a Republican appointed to an important job in Washington. You'll probably find that 90 percent of the people who work in your agency are Democrats, as are 90 percent of the media types who cover you and 90 percent of the academics who comment on your work.

the gonzales dog-and-pony show tends to be distracting; i almost .... i said "almost" ..... i almost felt sorry for this cretinous sack of shit ..... he was like a mouse that had had its legs broken, then found itself tossed into a turd-filled sandbox with a bunch of kittens who were just learning how to puff themselves up, hiss, hop sideways, and punch anything that was smaller, weaker, and more helpless than they are ..... like a dustball ..... or a shoelace ...... or an old tampon ...... yeah .... our politicians ...

i see that paul wolfowitz, the "father of the iraq occupation," has been having a little trouble at the world bank, where he went to "help the unfortunate" and "fight corruption ...." when i hear that he's the father of the invasion and occupation, i wonder--who the fuck is the mother? what kind of silly ho would spread for this scumsucking pig? oh .... kosher pig, for sure, but pig nonetheless ..... anyway, i know that he's doing a good job, just like he did over in eye-rak .... what better way to help poor people than by putting your punch on your payroll?
